Well, I think everybody should know what the Petrify State actually does, but do battle systems like Victor Sant's let you show the player how the heroes have been infected with such a nasty state?
The answer is NO. Not by default.
There is where this script of mine comes forth to fill the gap and let you visualize the given hero being turned into a living stone statue! Hopefully, they won't remain petrified forever. :S
Side Notes
The script will turn your hero into a grayish battler at any moment during battle.
And yes, opening and closing the main menu won't revert the visual effect at all.
