I've been having this issue for a while, and I have no idea when it started happening or what caused it, but I'm having square characters appear in the place of blank spaces. It's like what you see when you're missing a language font or something, except they're blank spaces and nothing should be printing there. Here's an example - it always happens for all the remaining blank characters on the name input screen:




I cannot for the life of me figure out what's causing this, and it seems to be happening on both my Windows 10 and XP machines. It happens on any project I open so it's not just something I've screwed up on this project. I've tried reinstalling the program but that didn't do anything to help.


Has anyone ever seen anything like this before? It's bugging me that I'm getting those because I've also seen it show up in a script window before the text when there was supposed to be no space or anything before the text.
