WisePot Free Plugins Series — a growing collection of powerful, flexible, and completely free utility plugins built specifically for
RPG Maker MZ!
Whether you're crafting a rich offline story or building the framework for a multiplayer RPG, these plugins give you greater control over game logic, visuals, and system behavior — all while keeping development fun and manageable.
Available Plugins
WisePot_Core
UI tweaks, player speed control, drop rate multipliers, vehicle landing rules, and a real-time damage tracker.
WisePot_Balloons
Enhanced balloon effects with customizable icon overlays and full event targeting.
WisePot_DateTime
Real-world time sync with timezone support. Great for birthdays, daily/weekly quests, and time-based systems.
WisePot_Menu
Add custom buttons to the menu, bind hotkeys to common events, and dynamically enable/disable them in-game.
WisePot_IWA
Add restrictions and passive effects to items, weapons, and skills based on actor, class, level, and map.
Plugin Highlights
WisePot_Core
- Title Screen Repositioning — Move title commands anywhere.
- Player Speed Control — Set or change walking speed on the fly.
- Drop Rate Multipliers — Adjust EXP, Gold, and Item drops using variables & switches.
- Battle Damage Tracker — Save party damage totals for use in skills, achievements, etc.
- Vehicle Restrictions — Prevent landing in specific region IDs to control world access.
WisePot_Balloons
- Use standard balloons or show custom icons (hearts, stars, etc.) from the IconSet.
- Target player, event ID, or "this event".
- Customize icon size, position, and use a custom base image.
- Fully integrates with WisePot_Core.
WisePot_DateTime
- Sync with real-world time using any IANA timezone (e.g. Asia/Kolkata, UTC).
- Store date/time values in variables: Year, Month, Hour, Weekday, AM/PM, etc.
- Support for daily rewards, birthday events, cooldowns, and more.
- Runs silently. use it with any picture or UI.
WisePot_Menu
- Add custom menu buttons tied to any Common Event.
- Assign keyboard hotkeys (e.g. A, B, C...) for instant in-game actions.
- Dynamically toggle buttons/hotkeys via events.
- Seamless with WisePot_Core.
️ WisePot_IWA
- Use notetagsto restrict who can equip/use items based on:
- Actor ID, Class, Level, or Map
- Add passive effectslike:
- passive_effect:hp:2 → +2 HP per minute
- passive_effect:mp:-1 → -1 MP per minute
- Auto-unequip when entering restricted maps.
- Works with items, weapons, armors, skills, and states.
