Hello everyone.
This time I bring you my new plugin related to minigames!

The Pressing Minigame!

An interesting plugin that will allow you to add new possibilities to your games!




Here are some of its features!​


Key Features​

  • Engaging Key-Pressing Gameplay: Players engage by rapidly pressing a specified key or clicking the mouse to fill up a progress bar before time runs out.

  • Customizable Game Parameters: Setup the minigame's difficulty with settings for timer duration, required number of presses, and rewards.

  • Visual Feedback: Includes a progress bar, optional visual timer, and configurable text to guide and motivate players.

  • Reward System: Set up rewards to grant players items upon successful completion, adding incentive to beat the challenge.

  • Win/Loss Conditions: Use RPG Maker MZ's switch system to track the outcome of the minigame, allowing for branching game narratives.

  • Supports Multiple Input Methods: Compatible with keyboard keys, mouse clicks, and gamepad buttons.

  • Dynamic Visual Elements: The progress bar and timer can be fully customized in appearance, including colors, gradients, and positioning.

  • Optional Text Instructions: Display instructions or motivational text with customizable font, color, and animation to enhance player engagement.

Example Usage​


Begin the minigame with the plugin command. After starting, use an Event Wait for 10 frames to ensure smooth operation and accurate switch activation. Utilize Conditional Branches to determine outcomes based on the activation of win or lose switches, allowing for dynamic storytelling and consequences based on player performance.


Example Scenario: If the win switch is activated, reward the player with items and proceed with the victory narrative. If the lose switch is activated, trigger a different storyline or challenge.
