Skill Buy System - Maliki's Extension ver 3.1.3 Introduction: An extension plugin to enhance the use of Fomar's Skill Buy System
Archived First Post
ver 3.1.3
Introduction:
An extension plugin to enhance the use of Fomar's Skill Buy System
Features
This plugin allows devs using Fomar's Skill Buy System to add useful touches to it.
Howto: After installing Fomar's Skill Buy System and preferably, their AP system, download and install this one directly under them.
Added Features:
Evals have been added for skill purchasing as well as buying requirements.
Ability to forget and relearn skills via the evals.
(Useful for "stat boost" skill system)
Ability for increasing (or decreasing...) skills costs.
Ability to group skills to share in the raising costs (think a Dark Souls like stat system)
Ability to change what skills can be learned.
Added script calls can be attached to monster skill damage formula to create a blue magic system!
Can also use with items to teach the skills.
Item based requirements have been added.
Can use the evals to restore an item thus creating a skill tool requirement!
Created Skill learning categories.
If you have too many potential skills, you can split them into categories in the skill menu!
The evals admittedly make many of these additions somewhat challenging to use.
Feel free to ask if you need something specific done and I'll see if it can be achieved.
Note that the plugin's file name must not be changed.
(Detailed instructions can be found in the Help section.)
Plugin Conflicts: There shouldn't be any conflicts with this plugin, however let me know if any are found and I'll try to correct them.
Permissions: This plugin can be used in any project, commercial or otherwise, as long as credit is given to myself and Fomar0153. Also, you must adhere to Fomar's terms or use for their plugins.
