Summary
Hi! I'm currently building an MMO (hold the first M for now) using RPGMaker . One of the things that we ended up creating is a plugin for utilizing "Yarn Spinner." Yarn is a game dialogue writing tool created by the same company that made "Night in the Woods." Unfortunately, though, they wrote it for C#, so it was quite a bit of work to get working for RPGMaker MZ . Demo of the Plugin:
As of RIGHT now, it supports 21 commands. If you're thinking, why on earth would someone use this vs. the built-in functions within RPGMaker? That's a great question! Either works, but some people might prefer writing it in yarn . It's also MUCH more similar to how Stardew Valley does it (Afaik). I would argue it's easier to read and write than the UI, and MUCH easier to read than custom scripts. Anyway, open to feedback, and will hopefully be adding more commands/functionality soon!
Have a great day all!
