Bonnie Tyler ◈

Bonnie Tyler was a Welsh singer whose unmistakable husky voice turned dramatic pop and rock songs into global anthems. She emerged internationally in the late 1970s with It's a Heartache, then reached a new level of recognition with the Jim Steinman-written Total Eclipse of the Heart.

Her recordings also included Holding Out for a Hero, Lost in France, and decades of albums and touring. Tyler represented the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013 and was appointed MBE for services to music. Her performances paired a powerful voice with an enduring sense of warmth and humor.
