This is my first post here, so if I'm in the wrong category, please correct me.

I'm hoping to accomplish something that looks like this:

Once you click an option, the menu becomes see-through and the map is visible in behind:

As story progression is made, the menu background adapts:

The screenshots were taken from the game ZENO Remake by 丸得基地.
They made their game in VX ACE, but I'm using MV.
I'm struggling to figure out how they did this. I want to add images to the menu that change over time.
I appreciate any help, thank you very much!
My first language is German..
