Summary
Within the forums I've noticed this is kind of a cliche intro, but because it's true, I need to say it: I'm fairly new to RPG Maker VX Ace. I'm really enjoying it so far, and have been trying to work out a few bugs. My main issue right now may sound a bit confusing, but I've taken some screenshots and labeled specific areas in order to help clear things up. What I want to do is conjure a ladder. What I want to do is conjure a ladder. Sounds odd, but I've almost got it. (For testing purposes, I cluttered everything in one room). Once you pick up the Scroll (labeled A), you can conjure a ladder at the marked floor points (labeled B ). Label B is an event that brings up the screen asking you if you would like to use the Ladder Scroll. If yes, a new event appears (labeled C) which is the ladder. You need this in order to reach the item on the edge of the bookshelf (labeled D).
The issue is that I can't figure out how to make the conjured ladder climbable. (I've tried selecting "Through" in the Event Options as well as several other Option combinations).
The Example files I attached are in order of progression.
Your cooperation is truly appreciated, thank you in advance!
