Hi All, I'm in need of some help and I'm thinking I might need a plugin for it and I don't know the scripting language unfortunately. I'm using a plugin (http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/49264-zelda-style-map-transitions/#comment-488489already that allows the screen to scroll within a map like Zelda whenever the player hits the edge of the screen.
I want the have the screen scroll before the player gets to the bottom and regardless of being the TOP or BOTTOM that the character scrolls from, I need him to move the extra 3 tiles vertically on its own.
So, basically, my screen resolution/size is 1248x768 but I want the player to only be able to walk in a space of 1248x624 like old Zelda games or Startropics, I have a HUD at the bottom of the screen that sits at the "True Screen Edge" but I want the character to only move vertically no farther than the "Desired Screen Edge".
So basically, the character needs to move from A to A.
Horizontal movement can work normally.
