Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew of a battle script similar to the one in XP, which uses art images rather than sprites.

I tried using the script Actors Battlers: http://victorscripts.wordpress.com/rpg-maker-vx-ace/battle-scripts/actors-battlers/

It is not a "plug in n' play script," and thus you must do some little script tweaks and stuff. I attempted to do them, but the battle images just wouldn't show up!

So, does anyone know of any other simpler, similar scripts?

I like the sideview look, but I also love the art rather than sprites at the same time. The battle system in their game is animated, however I do not necessarily want them to be animated. Just a script with art pictures. Either with a horizontal view like in that picture or a vertical view like in XP.
