I have an old copy of RPG Maker VX that was purchased back in December 2010. I'd like to use it again but I am having trouble activating it. I have a copy of the original confirmation email with the Product Key. The download link in that original confirmation email no longer works, but I have a backup of the original installation files from that link. I installed it and attempted to activate it with the Product Key from the original confirmation email but it just hangs on "Connecting to activation server". I tried downloading the trial version of RPG Maker VX from here and activating it with the Product Key from the original confirmation email. It just says it isn't a valid Product Key. I copied and pasted the Product Key from the original confirmation email so it should be correct. The email that was used to purchase it is no longer active. How can I get it activated so I can use it again?
