Summary

"Save the file (RPGVX_Setup.zip) on your local hard drive. Find the downloaded file, right-click it and select Extract All. Click Extract. Once the extraction is complete, you'll have two folders; Program and VXRTP.

  2. Find the downloaded file, right-click it and select Extract All.
  3. Click Extract.
  4. Once the extraction is complete, you'll have two folders; Program and VXRTP.
  5. First, open VXRTP folder and run Setup.exe to install RPG Maker VX Runtime Package. Then, follow the instruction on the screen to finish the installation.
  6. Open Program folder and run Setup.exe to install RPG MAKER VX. Then, follow the instruction on the screen to finish the installation.
  7. Find and click RPG Maker VX icon in the program menu to start the program.
  8. Click Activate.
  9. Enable "I want to activate trial mode", type your name and email address, then click Activate.
  10. Click OK."

This would be good, if there was a zip file at all. All I got was a regular installer and when I did, this was in there.

Protected download

The RPGVX application just sends me to the client thing, and every time I click continue it comes up with something about the game not being installed. Help. I really want to play this game to see if I like it, but at this rate it simply isn't possible.
