Summary
I wasn't really sure where to post this as it's sort of a tutorial, but not really? Mods may move this to wherever they see fit. This is particularly aimed at composers and devs who want some interesting audio implementation in their RPG Maker VX Ace (it's not dead yet!) project. This video explains the process by which I was able to create a long boss theme and have it continue to loop certain parts of the song, depending on the progression of the boss fight.

For the most part, this can be done on either RPG Maker VX Ace, or RPG Maker MV. However, Neon Black's "Cross Fade Audio" script is only for VX Ace. There's no real cross-fade plugin for MV yet.
You can find Neon Black's Cross Fade Audio script here: https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?threads/cross-fade-audio-script.2472/
(Mind that the footage of Palasiel Quest you're seeing is all still in development, so you will see and hear things out of place. I'm happy to answer any questions about this in the thread.)
Also, I apologise for my scattered mess of speech. Not only do I get nervous when recording off script, but it was really late so I couldn't be as loud and energetic as I wanted to be (which usually offsets the nervousness).
